Nestled in the centre of the idyllic Shropshire town, Ludlow, the Grade II listed building harbours the warmth and character one would expect from what was originally an 14th Century house. Hand-picked ales are a highlight, and are proudly sourced from local breweries within Shropshire itself, and also from the neighbouring West Midlands.

As well as the range of traditional beers, including a regularly changed 'guest ale' - there is a wide choice of wines, spirits, cocktails and soft drinks.
During opening hours (including Sundays) bar meals are served; from a ham sandwich, cut to order, to a complete meal, such as trout or steak followed by a selection of puddings.
