Parking in Ludlow

Car Parks:
The three principal car parks in the centre of Ludlow are at Upper Galdeford (Co-Op), Lower Galdeford (Smithfield), and Castle Street. A limited amount of off road parking is also at The Linney playing fields. They operate on a pay-and-display basis. Click here for Ludlow map with car parks featured

Pay and Display Meters:
On-street parking in the town centre (Central Red Zone) is available with Pay and Display. Further out from the town centre (Blue Zone) it is free but time restricted.


Ludlow Park and Ride

Ludlow Park & Ride (marked on map below) is based at the Eco Business Park and can easily be reached from all areas using the A49. Follow the signs in and around Ludlow to the site. If using Sat Nav use postcode SY8 1ES.

- Free all day parking when purchasing a ticket.

- Cycle parking is available at the Eco Park site.

Times from car park:
Buses run from 07.15 to 17.45 Monday to Saturday. The last bus arrives at the Assembly Rooms at 18:00 where the service terminates.
Times from town centre:
Buses run from 07.30 to 17.30 Monday to Saturday

Fare details:
The return fare from the Eco Park site is £1.80 for Adults, £1.30 for Children, and £1.60 for English concessionary pass holders.

There is also a Family ticket for £5.00 that allows return travel for 2 adults and up to 3 children from the Eco Park site.

Ludlow Railway Station

The Welsh Marches Line offers a comfortable and convenient means of getting to Ludlow. There are connections at Crewe and Manchester for the North, Shrewsbury for Birmingham and the Midlands and the Cambrian Line and connections at Newport (Wales) for Cardiff and south Wales, London and the South East and Bristol and the South West.

Ludlow's railway station is a short walk (about 5 minutes) from the town centre.

There is a small pay and display car park here for users of the railway.
