 We became the UK's first Cittaslow town: Ludlow is the HQ of Cittaslow in the UK, as well as housing the national HQ of Slow Food UK. We are also a Fairtrade Town. We were awarded the Great Town Award in December 2006, and we are twinned with La Ferté-Macé in Normandy, France, San Pietro in Cariano near Verona in Italy, and Narberth in Pembrokeshire, Wales.
