A concert to celebrate the 150th anniversary of the poet A E Housman, author of A Shropshire Lad. James Gilchrist, tenor and The Schubert Ensemble perform two song cycles inspired by Housman's poetry; Vaughan Williams' On Wenlock Edge and Gurney's Ludlow and Teme. The concert will also include Elgar's Quintet.
